Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from pallet stretch?
They are two different products. Cling film is thin and has to cling and stay clear; pallet stretch is thicker and its job is tension and load stability, and it is not supplied for food contact.
Is it safe for direct food contact?
Yes, it is made from food-contact material. If your use is direct and prolonged contact, say so when ordering so the right material is selected.
Do you make long catering rolls?
Yes, the 1000 m roll is for restaurants and catering and the 500 m roll for lighter use; both come 30 or 40 cm wide.

- Buying Stretch Film: Why Price per Kg Is Not EnoughStretch film is sold by the kilo but not consumed by the kilo; it is consumed by the pallet. Because the film is made to be stretched, how far it stretches decides how many pallets a kilo wraps. So two rolls at the same per-kilo price can have completely different costs per pallet.
- Catering packaging: table roll, cling film and bagsCatering and restaurants typically consume four films: a disposable tablecloth roll in 50 or 60 cm widths for tables and events, 10-micron food stretch wrap for covering trays and containers, 30-micron freezer bags for storing ingredients, and nylon (LDPE) bags for packing and carrying orders. Each is a separate product and none replaces another.
- Shrink or stretch? Two films that are constantly confusedHeat shrink film contracts when it passes through a heat tunnel and takes the shape of the product; stretch film is wrapped cold and restrains the load by its own tension. Shrink is for retail and display packing, stretch is for securing pallets in transit and storage.
